Gladys Ruth Graham New
Gladys Ruth Graham New, 81, Altus, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2006 at Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Richard Ventonis Officiating. Burial will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the arrangements of Kincannon Funeral Home.
She was born on January 5, 1925 in Friendship, Oklahoma to Elmer A. and Belle (Scalf) Dollins. She graduated from high school and then in 1943 married Robert E. Graham at Olustee, Oklahoma. To this union one son, Kenneth Dale Graham, was born. She was a Dietary Aid and worked with nutrition in the Altus School System. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Altus, Oklahoma. She married Delmer L. New May 5, 1990 at Carter, Oklahoma. She loved cooking, camping, and listening to Gospel and Blue Grass Music.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Everett Graham; her parents; and one brother James Dollins of Altus, OK. She is survived by her husband Delmer of Altus; her son, Kenneth of Key Largo, Florida; and one brother O.W. Dollins of Altus.
