Bob G. Gilley, 82, Mangum, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Martha Cemetery with Rev. Shawn Johnson officiating. Services are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Bob G. Gilley was born November 9, 1934 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Waymon O. and Wilma (Switzner) Gilley. He attended school in Jayvine, Oklahoma and married Patsy Ruth Keck November 26, 1952 in Altus, Oklahoma. Bob was a carpenter and worked in the construction business all his adult life. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed collecting coins and stamps; reading Westerns by Louis L'Amour; working crossword puzzles and cryptograms and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patsy; son, Jerry Dean "Hoss" Gilley; a grandson, Chad Clampitt; a great great grandchild, Gabrielle Dane Moreno; four brothers, JW, Ed, Jimmy and Bob Zeke Gilley; three sisters, Evlynne Byrd, Betty Jo Waller and Edyth Joliss and husband, Andy; and sister-in -law, Mary Jean Gilley.

Bob is survived by his two sons, Dennis G. Gilley and wife, Linda; Garry Dane Gilley and wife, Celia; daughter, Karen Newsom; three brothers, Johnny Ray Gilley and Billy Tom Gilley and wife, Patsy; one sister, Sue Fike and husband, Reggie; 15 grandchildren, Regina Kay Penly and husband, Gary, Brent Gilley and wife, Crystal, Kenny Gilley and wife, Kim, Chuck Clampitt and wife, Sabrina, Kari Kenzey and husband, Eric, Stephanie Tosh and husband, Kevin, Chris Alonzo, Jim Higginbothom, Brandy Higginbothom, Jerry Glenn Wilson and wife, Amy, Danny Ray Gilley, Carrie Gilley, Tony Newsom and wife, Jamie, Kevin Newsom and wife, Caitlyn and Rollen Newsom and fiancée, Tammy; 35 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and many friends.
