Dick Terry Rasco, 81, Altus, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at English Village Manor. Cremation services were provided by Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Arrangements for inurnment at Fort Sill National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
Terry Rasco was born February 25, 1936 in Gadsden, Alabama to Laben and Kate (Chambers) Rasco. Terry entered the United States Army July 1, 1955 and was honorably discharged June 30, 1958 after serving in Korea. He married Francis Donaldson in 1959. Mr. Rasco reenlisted in the Army October 14, 1961 and was honorably discharged again June 28, 1971, having served two tours in Vietnam. He worked as a machinist most of his adult life; had also worked as a cab driver and loved working on computers. Terry was of the Christian faith and enjoyed target shooting, turkey hunting and going to casinos.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Frances; grandson, Raymond Barnes, III; six brothers and five sisters. He is survived by three daughters, Donna Barnes (TJ Jones), Carol Struble and Karen Richeson (Jason Mantzke); his son, Scott Rasco; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; special friends Loren and Merrill Ahrens and many friends.
