Fred Archie Goss

January 20, 1917 — August 23, 2015

Fred Archie Goss, 98, Eldorado, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the English Village Manor. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in the Eldorado Cemetery. Interment will be under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Fred Archie Goss was born on January 20, 1917 in Eldorado, Oklahoma to Archie and Sadie (Starwalt) Goss. Fred grew up in Eldorado and was a farmer and rancher his whole life. He also worked for the State of Oklahoma for a brief period. Fred loved horses and dogs and was a member of the Texas/Oklahoma Wolf Hunters Association and the Eldorado Riding Club. He served on the Boards for both organizations. Fred lived and long and productive life and was a friend to many during his lifetime.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Edna Earle (Groce) Goss and Melba (Young) Goss, a son, Joe, daughter-in-law, Rhea, a granddaughter, Darla, and eight siblings, Gladys, Hazel, Edith, Ruth, Lena, Doyle, Arthur and Donald.

Fred is survived by two granddaughters, Shelia and Debbie; a grandson, Anthony; eleven great grandchildren, Kendall, Eric, Jeremy, Brandy, David, Dakotah, Cody, Tanner, Tyler, Caylen and Tiffany; four great great grandchildren, Addie, Corey, Zaiden and Blaise; plus one faithful puppy named Cookie, Coco or Baby, or whatever he felt like calling her. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends.
