Janice M. Bailey, 73, Altus, passed away March 16, 2016 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Graveside services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Altus City Cemetery with Thomas Bailey officiating. Services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home.
Janice Marie Kaufman was born July 5, 1942 to Augusta Arsley and Della Mae (Felty) Kaufman. She lived her entire life in Altus and the Olustee area. She worked many years as a teller for the First National Bank in Altus. She married Franklin D. Bailey on May 26, 2008. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Janice resided for several years at Tamarack Assisted Living and considered the staff and residents there as part of her family. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.
Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents, and one brother, Norman Kaufman.
She is survived by her sons, Tom Bailey and his wife, Cindy, Randy Bailey and his wife, Donna, Frankie Bailey and Terry Bailey; 10 grandchildren; and twenty eight great-grandchildren.
