Nancy Lou Martin, 86, Altus, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, August 8, 2016 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jason Duree and Ricky Crouch officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Nancy Lou was born August 3, 1930 to Dennis F. and Dorthy E. (Sharrock) Foust in Mountain View, Oklahoma. She attended Cowden Schools and later earned her GED. Nancy married Kenneth Halsted on March 30, 1946. She and Kenneth were blessed with five children. Kenneth passed away May 4, 1960. Nancy later married George W. Martin on May 4, 1962 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. To this union they were blessed with another daughter, Teresa Anderson. George passed away on February 16, 2015. She worked at the Altus Fabric Store and Surplus City for many years. Nancy was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, playing bingo, reading and crocheting. Her greatest joy was spending time with family.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; daughter, Neoma Jordan; brothers, Curtis Foust, Rex Foust and Virgil Foust; and sisters, Mona Alexander and Lillian Haws.

She leaves behind her children, Larry Dean Halsted and wife, Kathy, Lana Kay Robertson, Donna Jo Banks and husband, J.R., Lyndell K. "Shorty" Halsted, and Teresa Jan Anderson and husband, Joe; a son-in-law, Jeff Jordan; nine grandchildren, Brian Murphy, John Holt and wife, Lisa, Julie Trussler, Angela Mullis and husband, Sherman, Crystal Evans and husband, Bobby, Shellie Brown and husband, Don, Duane Pritchard and wife, Cheryl, David Patten and wife, Candy, and Robin Patten; sixteen great - grandchildren; one sister, Norma Morris; and two sisters-in-law, Betty Foust and Deon Foust.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, 500 N. Veterans Drive, Altus, OK 73521 or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Additional parking for the service is available behind the funeral home, Days Inn to the South or Western Sizzlin' to the North.
