Patricia L. Church, 59, Altus, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM April 15, 2017 at the Kincannon Funeral Home. Memorial services are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Patricia was born on October 9, 1957 at Chanute AFB, IL to William J. and Shirley (Thielker) DeForest. She graduated from Arlington High School in Lagrangeville, N.Y. She attended Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie N.Y. and graduated with an Associate's Degree in accounting. After college she enlisted in the United States Air Force and worked as a Pneudraulics Systems Technician. She retired in 1995 and began working for civil service at Altus AFB and retired in 2014 . Patricia married John Church on April 24, 1981 at McGuire AFB, N.J. Patti was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed reading, sewing and cooking. She especially loved her family.

Her parents and a sister, Carol Schmidt, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, John, of the home; son, Daniel, of Edmond, OK; daughter, Amanda (Leon), of Ponca City, OK; three granddaughters, Ashlynn, age 7, Addyson, age 4, and Sophia, age 9; a grandson, Lane, age 12; a sister, Rose E. Bell and husband, David, of Arvada, CO; and many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice in Patricia’s name.
