Anita Louise Kendrix

Anita Louise Kendrix, 63, Moore, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Dr. Randy Kendrix officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Anita was born on November 16, 1951 in Talladega, Alabama to Jack and Mary (Christie) Mashburn. She married Darrell Kendrix on December 18, 1975 in Vernon, Texas. Anita was a loving caregiver all of her life and loved taking care of her family and others. She was a member of the Knob Hill Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Her parents, a son, Cody Kendrix, and a brother, Eddie Holmes, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Darrell, of the home; two sons, Brian Hutton of Moore, OK and Shane Kendrix and wife, Sara, of Munday, TX; four grandchildren, Thomas Hutton, Jordan Hutton, Noah Kendrix and Jeanna Kendrix; a sister, Frances Studdard and husband, Charles of Talladega, AL; three sisters-in-law, Louise Meyers and husband, Nathan, of Hobbs, NM, Freda Virnau and husband, Don, of Waco, TX and Karen Lowery and husband, Lonnie, of Edmond, OK; four brothers-in-law, Scott Kendrix and wife, Betty, of Moore, OK, Donald Kendrix and wife, Dorothy, of Newcastle, OK, EB Kendrix and wife, Glenda, of Altus, OK and Harvey Kendrix and wife, Carol, of Elmer, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
