Argelia Ortiz, 45, Altus, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Deacon Eulis Mobley officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Argelia was born on April 4, 1975 to Rufino and Leopolda (Gonzalez) Benitez in El Paso del Guayabal, Mexico. She married Robert Ortiz in Mexico on January 24, 1993. Argelia was the Linen Coordinator at Jackson County Memorial Hospital for fifteen years. She enjoyed fishing, dancing and spending time with her family.
Argelia was preceded in death by her parents
Survivors include her husband, Robert, of the home; son, Paulino Ortiz; five brothers, Misael, Raunel, Abel, Osvaldo and Rufino Benitez, Jr.; five sisters Eva, Zenaida, Marilu, Ana and Yadira Benitez; and many other family members and friends.
