Audry L. Jackson, 93, Altus, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2020 at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Audry L. Talley was born November 25, 1927 in Allen, Oklahoma to Dee and Opal (Sanders) Talley. She attended school in Allen, OKlahoma and married Joe Allen Jackson on July 3, 1953 in Quanah, Texas. To this union five children were born. She was a loving wife and dedicated mother who took care of all her families’ needs. Audry was a nurse at the Altus House Nursing Home across from the hospital an retired following 20 years of service. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dee and Opal Talley; her husband , Joe Allen Jackson; two sons, Jerry Allen Jackson and Woody Harvel Jackson; her grandson, Zachary Joseph Jackson; her great grandson, Bohdi Michael Eugene Poe; two sisters, Mable Rowland and Wesleen Kenmore; and one brother, Tyra Talley.
Audry is survived by one daughter, Janie Butler and husband, Roy; two sons, John Jackson and wife, Margie; and Tommy Jackson; one sister, Catherine Caster; three brothers, H.B. Talley and wife, Jean; Dee Talley and wife, Bonnie; and Bobby Talley and wife, Jane; 23 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
