Bennie A. Holder

Bennie Allen Holder, 76, passed away at his home in Blair, Oklahoma on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Bennie Allen Holder was born on January 12, 1946 in Stringtown, Oklahoma to Benjamin B. and Anna Z. (Beck) Holder. He graduated with the class of 1964 from Stringtown High School. Bennie joined the United State Air Force in 1967 and served his country faithfully until his retirement in 1989. He married his precious bride, Virginia Sanders, on September 5, 1979 in Vernon, Texas. Bennie was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading, camping and traveling, especially to Branson, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Debra Holder and Shelly Goss Pickens; and siblings, Bobby Nichols, Lorene Holder, JoAnn Buchanan, Clay Holder, A.J. Holder, A.G. Holder and Ray Holder.

Bennie is survived by his wife of 42 years, Virginia; daughters, Catherine Payne and Terry Nieves; son, William Goss; 10 grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren.
