Bernardo Gomez Perez

Bernardo Gomez Perez, 47, Altus, passed away on Tuesday, October 28 at his home. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 AM Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Wickersham officiating. There will be a rosary held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 30 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. He was born on April 15, 1967 to Moises and Maria (Gomez) Perez in Mexico. Bernardo and Maria Socorro Martinez were married in 1987 in Mexico. He was a farm worker for the Robbins Farms for several years and also worked at Bar S for about a year. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He enjoyed cooking, music and most of all spending time with family and friends. Bernardo is survived by his parents; wife; a son, Jose Roberto Gomez; three daughters, Maria Erika Gomez, Karina Gomez and Ana Luisa Gomez; three grandchildren, Dyland Gutierrez, Maite Gutierrez and Camila Gomez; a brother, Moises Gomez; and two sisters, Evelia Gomez and Simona Gomez.
