Carolyn Jones

Carolyn Denise Jones, 69, Altus, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A celebration of life will be 1:30 PM Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Altus Church of God with Earnest Everman officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday evening, February 26, 2021at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Carolyn Denise Massey was born on June 26, 1951 in Independence, Missouri to Harold Lee and Theora M. (Curless) Massey. She grew up in Missouri and married Leon Jones in Raytown, Missouri on May 31, 1969. Carolyn was a member of the Altus Church of God. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, music and singing. Carolyn especially loved her time with her children and grandchildren.

Her parents and two sisters, Madreena Wendel and Teri Frazier, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Leon, of the home; a son, Aaron Jones and wife, Tina; a daughter, Sarah Ybarra and husband, Juan; eight grandchildren, Chelsea Jones, Kaley LaRue and husband, Brandon, Alex, Mena, Gabriel and Amelia Kelly, Nathan Ybarra and Juan Ybarra, Jr.; five great grandchildren, Bradley, Jaden, Brylynn, Lincoln and Rose; a sister, Haroldine Thomas and husband, John; and a host of friends and church family.
