Celia Alicia Peralta Morales, 73, Altus, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2022 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Carlos Moreno officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Celia was born on October 21, 1948 in Mexico City, Mexico to Jose Peralta and Margarita Morales. She married Rene Martinez in Mexico City in 1968 and to this union six children were born. Celia moved to Altus in 1990 and primarily worked as a housekeeper at the Days Inn in Altus for several years. She enjoyed dancing, singing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Josefina, Antonio, Ana, and Raymundo.
Celia is survived by six children, Martha Martinez Peralta, Olivia Martinez Peralta, Rene G. Martinez Peralta and wife, Kimberley, Carlos Martinez Peralta and wife, Paula, Irving Martinez Peralta and wife, Lily, and Cecilia Martinez Peralta; 29 grandchildren, Jorge, Vanessa and husband, Lazaro, Nancy and husband, Leo, Daniela, Carlos, Tania, Laura, Cristian, Jesus, Sonya and husband, Yonis, Ashley and husband, Ricky, Nano, Kylah, Celeste, Ketzy, Anthony, Kaitlin, Marcus, Eian, Emilio, Jace, Kyler, Sergio, Kendra, Isaac, Adam, Jecelie, Josiah, and Jovani; 14 great grandchildren, LuisAngel, Brayden, Valeria, Joshua, Natalia, Tatiana, Mariana, Aaliyah, Isreal, Carlitos, Kiana, Noah, YaYa, and Eliana; the father of her children, Rene Martinez; a brother, Alfredo Peralta Morales and wife, Amada Barrera; special friends, Rylah and Roger; and numerous other family members and friends.
The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the funeral home.
