Christopher Clayton “Clay” Stephens, 59, Oklahoma City, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Jerry Woodward officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service. The family will greet friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Clay was born on January 20, 1963 in Altus to Phillip Stephens and Jackie (Browder) Hubert. He attended Altus Public Schools. Clay earned a living welding for Arrow Wrecking Services in Oklahoma City for 11 years. He enjoyed shooting pool and spending time with friends and family. Clay is preceded in death by his father, Phillip Stephens; and grandparents, Ellen and Clayton Browder. He is survived by his fiancé, Marinda Crumpton; sons, Buck Stephens, Phillip Stephens and Jake Stephens; daughter, Christina Stewart; mother, Jackie Hubert; stepfather, Bobby Hubert; brothers, Mike Stephens and Tyson Hubert; stepbrothers, Gary Hubert and David Hubert; 10 grandchildren; and many friends.
