Connie Mays

Connie E. Mays, 70, Altus, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at her home. The family has chosen cremation and memorial services are pending at this time. Services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Connie Elaine Duke was born January 18, 1950 in Altus, Oklahoma to Frank and Lena (Bryant) Duke. She graduated from Altus High School with the Class of 1968 and continued her education at the Southwest Technology Center in nursing. She had practiced as an LPN for several years at clinics, nursing homes and hospitals in Oklahoma City and also at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus. She was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed watching True Crime TV
shows and spending time with her granddaughters.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Terry Mays II; brother, Frankie Duke; and four sisters, Linda Gibson, Sue English, Willie Foster and Leta Robison. Connie is survived by two granddaughters, Kacie Mays and Mackinlee Mays; two sisters, Joy Woods and Robbie Fagan; daughter-in-law, Melanie Perkins and husband, Tommy; a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
