Cory Simmons

Cory Scott Simmons, 38, Altus, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation services have been provided by Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Cory was born on February 11, 1983 in Altus, Oklahoma to Thomas and Pamela (Gossage) Tuckerson. He began school in Turkey at Incirlik Air force Base, later attending school in Altus, and then in Delaware. The family moved back to Altus where Cory has lived ever since. He worked for the Altus Cab Company as a taxi driver and was the Christian faith. Cory enjoyed fishing ponds, lakes and rivers, catching and releasing anything he caught just for the joy of fishing. He also liked playing his video games and was characterized by all who knew him as having the most infectious laugh.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin Gossage, Faye Crosnoe, Bernard and Ada Tuckerson.

Cory is survived by his parents, Thomas and Pamela; one brother, Eric Simmons; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
