David Grant Brignola

David Grant Brignola, 63, Altus, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation services are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home. David was born on October 2, 1949 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania to Daniel and Betty (Renniger) Brignola. He served in the US Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service. He then worked for civil service at Altus Air Force Base for more than ten years and retired as the Crew Chief for C-17 Aircraft Maintenance. David married Patsy Ann Day on May 13, 1998 in Altus, Oklahoma. She passed away on January 23, 2013. He loved playing music and golfing. David was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a brother. Survivors include his daughter, Bobbie Jean Brignola of Athens, PA; stepdaughter, Kathy Smith of Granite, OK; a son, Michael Brignola of Pennsylvania; three stepsons, David Mann and wife, Sylvia, of Lake Dallas, TX, Terry Mann of Sayre, OK, and Edward Mann of Lakewood, WA; and a sister, Sandra Brignola of Phoenixville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David’s name to the Children’s Transportation Fund, India Shrine Center, 3601 NW 36th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73112.
