Dominga Martinez, 77, Altus, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Major Ben Walters officiating. Burial will follow in the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Dominga Suniga was born on January 19, 1941 in Edcouch, Texas to Candelario and Francisca (Reyes) Suniga. She attended school in Texas and worked as a farm laborer in the Hereford, Texas area. She married Rene Martinez on April 4, 1982 in Vernon, Texas. Dominga enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to dance, play Mexican bingo and go garage saleing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Roberto Rodriguez, two daughters, Stella Sapata and Minga Rodriguez, two sisters, Guadalupe Garcia and Juanita Contreras, and a brother, Raymundo Zuniga.
Survivors include her husband, Rene; sons, Roberto Rodriguez, Jr., Dal Rodriguez and wife, Anita, and Refugio Rodriguez; daughters, Gloria Delapaz Baca and husband, Javier, Marlene Rodriguez and husband, Manuel, Lupe Robles, Lee Ann Sisk and husband, Rodney, Elizabeth Olivas and husband, Eliasat, Cynthia Caward and husband, Britton, Lucinda Taylor and husband, Brandon, and Kendall White; grandchildren, Estellita Rodriguez, Montel Vidot, Jovanni Rodriguez, Gisselle Rodriguez, Diego Edwards, Rosemary Duarte and husband, Mark, Terri Cervantez and husband, Tony, Francisco Baca, Myra Baca, Jennifer Correia, LaDale Gloria, Geneva Gloria, Tisha Rodriguez, Selena Rodriguez, Justin Rodriguez, Crystal Borrego, Refugio Rodriguez, Jr., Aracely Rodriguez, Robert Ray Sanchez, Shabrail Sanchez, Mariah Sanchez, Isaiah Sanchez, Niko Robles, Sady Robles, Rodney Dale Sisk, Kelsey Sisk, Jordan Sisk, Noah Sisk, Xavier Cruz, Lizario Olivas, Jianna Olivas, Lucinda, Mikayla and Ethan Atkinson, Maddie Caward, Izzy, Sofia, James and Logan Taylor, and Gabriel Reyes, Jr.; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; siblings, Guadalupe Ramirez, Candelaria Vargas, Daniel Suniga, Eliasar Garcia and Fidencia Suniga; and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
