Donna Ruth Charles

Donna R. Charles, 72, Altus, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Memorial services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, February 7, 2020 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jason Duree officiating. Cremation services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Donna Ruth Sanders was born November 28, 1947 to James C. and Lanell (Hundley) Sanders in Abilene, Texas. She graduated from Throckmorton High School, Throckmorton, Texas, with the Class of 1966. Donna and Bobby Charles were united in marriage on November 22, 1968 in Holiday, Texas and to this union, two sons, Bobby and Blake, were born. Donna worked for Ag Preference in Altus in 1988 and retired in 2012 as the assistant Vice President. She was a longtime member of the Southside Baptist Church. Donna enjoyed sewing; working in her flower beds and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Missy Franklin. She is survived by her husband, Bobby; two sons, Bobby Charles II and his wife, Melissa; and Blake Charles; five grandchildren, Trey Charles and his wife, Carolyn; Cody Charles; Tiffany Charles; Carter Torrez; Jaxon Torres; Alyssa Weber and Stephen Torrez; eight great grandchildren, Riley, Case, Jade, Madi, Remi, Reagan, Kennedy and Levi; two sisters, Mary Franklin and husband, Jack; and Kathy Salters; two brothers, JC Sanders and wife, Tena; and Joel Sanders and wife Carla; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
