Donna Jeanne Smith

Donna Jeanne Smith, 80, Altus, passed away on September 18, 2015 in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Altus City Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Donna Jeanne Hill was born on December 23, 1934 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Daniel H. and Dorothy Lee (Eller) Hill. She married Dan A. Smith on September 17, 1953 in Tooele, Utah. He passed away on April 6, 1997. Donna worked as a homemaker all of her life and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed crafts, knitting and gardening in her spare time. Most of all, she loved spending time watching her grandchildren play sports. Donna was a very loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Steven Smith, a sister, E.J. Lewis, and a brother, Leslie Hill.

Survivor include a daughter, Diane Fowler of Blair, OK; a son, Jeffrey Smith and Rebecca Maldonado of Martha, OK; six grandchildren, Courtney Madison of Altus, OK, Jeffrey Smith, Jr. of Boydville, OK, Amanda Daugherty and husband, Greg, of Altus, OK, Kyle Fowler of Blair, OK, Kelby Fowler and wife, Ashley, of Altus, OK, and Jessica Smith of Moore, OK; 11 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; a brother, Daniel B. Hill of Tooele, UT; two sisters-in-law, Karen Solar and Pat Sanders; a brother-in-law, Allen Smith; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
