Doris Faye Herrera

Doris Faye (Bradford) Herrera, 64, Altus, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 21, 2019 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Altom officiating. Services are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Doris Faye Bradford was born on December 6, 1954 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Dewie and Renny (Westmoreland) Bradford. She graduated high school in 1973 at Duke and worked as a secretary for the State of Oklahoma. She enjoyed playing and watching basketball. In her senior year, Doris was awarded the Outstanding Basketball Player of the Year at Duke. Doris was a member of the First Baptist Church in Altus and sang in the choir for First Baptist Church in Mangum and also in Altus. Some of Doris' favorite activities were being with family and friends. She loved being with children, especially her nieces and nephews.

Her parents, a sister, Linda Rice, two brothers Jerry and James Bradford, and a sister-in-law, Vangie Bradford, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sister, Phyllis Stalcup and husband, Gary; a brother, Kenneth Bradford; two sisters-in-law, Susan Bradford and Shary Bradford Phillips; and many nieces and nephews.
