Euleta Maxine Christopher, 77, Altus, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 29, 2013 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Bro. Keith Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Euleta Maxine Walker was born on July 14, 1936 in Okarche, Oklahoma to William T. and Stella (Frye) Walker. She grew up in El Reno, Oklahoma and attended El Reno schools. Euleta married Gerald “Chris” Christopher, Sr. on September 29, 1951 in El Reno, Oklahoma. She was homemaker and an Air Force wife for many years. She and her husband, Chris, had a wheat farm, raised horses and were custom harvesters following his military retirement. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, reading, decorating, flowers, gardening, fishing, rodeos and horses. Euleta is preceded in death by one brother, Bob Walker; and daughter-in-law, Robin Christopher. She is survived by her husband, Chris, of Altus, OK; daughter, Debbie Greene, of Atlanta, GA, and son Jerry Christopher, of Altus, OK; six grandchildren, Christopher Greene of Atlanta, GA; Amy Hamilton and husband Keith of Atlanta, GA; Keith Christopher and wife Lindsey of Charleston, S.C.; Jimmy Greene and wife Megan of Sylvania, GA; Lauren Coffman and husband Drew of Atlanta, GA; Whitney Leach and husband Joseph of Atlanta, GA; eight great grandchildren; four brothers, Bill Walker of Waco, TX, Jack Walker and wife, Pam, of Springfield, MO, Tom Walker and wife Charlotte of Seattle, WA and Don Walker of California, as well as many friends. Viewing will be available until 8 p.m. Wednesday. The family has requested no viewing Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, and viewing will resume 8 a.m. Friday until service time.
