Georgia Novotny, 76, formerly of Altus, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Bentonville, Arkansas. A Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Kincannon Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 with Father Joseph David at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Georgia Nunez was born July 3, 1944 in Knox City, Texas to Antonio and Georgia (Valledares) Nunez. She married Richard Novotny in Altus, Ok. To this union three children were born: Douglas, Danette and Dustin. Georgia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She took care of her family and served as a caregiver in her later years when the kids were grown. Georgia was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Frederick, Oklahoma. She enjoyed crafting, her birds and her puppies, and was very social in her community.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Georgia Nunez; and her grandson, Wesley Sanders.
She is survived by her children, Douglas Novotny and wife, Inez; Danette Ross and husband, Richard; and Dustin Novotny; six sisters, Lucy, Mary, Tony, Eloisa, Adella and Rosa; one brother, Sammuel Valledares; nine grandchildren, Kati, Brance and Maddi Novotny; Trinity Novotny; Teddi Flippo and husband, Brandon; Karli Jo Holliday and husband, Stormy; Michael Clark and wife, Brookelynn ; Jacob Clark and Eden Ross; seven great grandchildren, Abcdee and Opal Holliday; Solomon and Asher Flippo; Blakelynn Clark; Sadie and Gauge Ghostbear; and many friends.
