Gordon Melvin Cone was born on July 26, 1948 in Tulare, California to Edward King and Essie Norene (Albright) Cone. He married Elizabeth Garcia on October 13, 2003 in Vernon, Texas. He worked as a janitor for most of his working career.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Retha Caples, and a brother, John Cone. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth, of the home; a daughter, Jennifer Cone of Altus; two sons, Eric Cone of California and Lance Cone of Tennessee; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
