James R. Lockwood, 61, Altus, passed away at his home Saturday, February 2, 2019. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
James Ray Lockwood was born May 14, 1957 in Altus to James W. and Lila June (Duncan) Lockwood. He attended Altus Public Schools and graduated from Altus High School with the Class of 1976. James married Tommie Thompson August 7, 1982 in Altus. He worked his entire adult life with his father at Lockwood's Auto Parts, west of Altus, on highway 62. James enjoyed movies, TV sports, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lila Lockwood. He is survived by his wife, Tommie; son, Cody Lockwood and wife, Gennifer; sister, Karen Kneisel and husband, John; grandson to be born soon, Coen James Lockwood; and many friends.
The Lockwood family will greet friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
