Jerry Waine Murley, 72, of Altus, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022. The Murley family will host a memorial reception 2:00 PM Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Kincannon Funeral Home Gathering Room. Services are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Jerry was born on November 22, 1949 in Granite, Oklahoma to Glen Irvin and Lizzie Faye (Wilfong) Murley. He graduated from Granite High School in 1969. Jerry primarily worked for Granite Public Schools, serving for 30 years as a bus driver/mechanic and a janitor. Jerry married Lois Richardson in Granite on August 1, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his son, Roger Farmer; parents, Glen and Lizzie Murley; brother, Billy Joe Murley; sister, Glenda Joyce (Murley) Perry; and nephew, Mitchell Duane Murley.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Lois, of the home; son, David Farmer and partner, Rose Dickey; two granddaughters, Whitney Farmer and Aaliyah Johnson; nephew, Mike Murley and wife, Kridae; nieces, Betty Perry and Donna Sue Perry; five great nephews; one great niece; four great-great nephews; four great-great nieces; and a host of other family and friends.
