Joe Rightmire, 60, Altus, went home on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Erin Martinez officiating. Services are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.
Joe was born on July 11, 1955 in DeQueen, Arkansas to Edmond Sparks and Dorothy Elizabeth (Browning) Rightmire. On December 23, 1975, he met the love of his life, Rose McCune. Joe was a free spirit and will be missed by all of those that loved him. He enjoyed motorcycles and tinkering and loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.
His parents, two children, Jessica and Stephen, and a brother, Roger, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Rose, of the home; six children, Lisa, Laura, Brittany, Viola, Kinzie and Daniel; and a brother, Colonel Hall.
