John S. Mayjoffo, Jr., 72, Altus, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A private family service will take place at a later time. Cremation services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
John S. Mayjoffo, Jr. was born on November 6, 1947 to John Salvatore and Willie Belle (Holly) Mayjoffo in San Francisco, California. John graduated high school and served his country in the United States Air Force. John served for more than 21 years and retired as a Technical Sergeant on June 1, 1988. He married Debra K. Ferkins on July 3, 1975 in Vernon, Texas. He had been currently working as a flight simulator technician at Altus Air Force Base for 32 years. John enjoyed tinkering and models and was always working on something.
John is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Debra, and a daughter, Lisa Hanson. He leaves behind his daughter, Michele Boggs and husband, Duane; a son, Jeff Mayjoffo and wife, Jennifer; nine grandchildren, Stephanie McGee, Rebecca McGee, April McGee, Bryan Vincent, Jr. and fiancée, Felicity, and Kaden, Kenedi and Jaycee Mayjoffo; great grandchildren, Embry, Junior, Dallas, Isaiah, Jaxon, Jordyn, Blakelynn, Ava and Kaisen; as well as many other family members and friends.
