Joseph Martin "Joey" Amore, 58, Altus, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Joseph Martin Amore was born on October 23, 1959 to Carmine, III and Renah (Beard) Amore in Fort Worth, Texas. He worked very hard all of his life and had been working maintenance for Enterprise Square Apartments for the last 26 years. Joey married Christy Reynolds on May 22, 2009 in Altus, Oklahoma. He enjoyed Dallas Cowboys football, bowling and golf. His family was his life and he loved being a dad.
His parents and a brother, Mike Amore, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Christy, of the home; five children, Brandon Roth and wife, Jennifer, Alyssa Amore, Breanna Wedde, Ashley Posey and Hannah Posey; five grandchildren, Corey, Alexis and Kaylee Roth, and Kylee and Caden Amore; a sister, Delores Schmid and husband, Jim; and a brother, Carmine Amore, IV and Jana Cope.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midfirst Bank in Christy Amore's name.
