Kathleen Joan Robinson, 79, Victory, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tim Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Victory Cemetery, west of Altus, under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Kathleen Joan Smith was born on February 14, 1938 in Ringwood, Oklahoma to Pete and Martha (Koehn) Smith. She grew up and attended schools in the Enid area. She married Billy Earl Robinson on January 15, 1955 in Enid, Oklahoma. She traveled with her husband while he was in the Air Force for 20 years. They lived in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Florida. Kathleen worked as a homemaker and enjoyed raising her kids. After Billy's retirement, the two of them farmed in Fairmont, Oklahoma. They enjoyed traveling together and spent a lot of time in the South Texas area. Kathleen volunteered for the Red Cross and was also instrumental in providing bibles to new believers in Christ. She enjoyed sewing and being around her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, a sister, Barbara Krause, and a brother, Leroy Smith, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Chadwick and husband, John, and Pamela Nicolls and husband, Boone; a son, Rusty Robinson; nine grandchildren, Audrey Massey and husband, Chris, Christopher Nicolls, Sarah Nicolls, Catherine Raugust and husband, Matthew, Joshua Nicolls and wife, Christy, Elizabeth Nicolls, Titus Nicolls, Levi Nicolls and Molleigh Robinson; three great grandchildren, Emma Massey, Dylan Massey and Evelyn Raugust; and three sisters, Burnece Schultz, Betty Brown and Genevieve Neumann.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
