Kristy Ann Sanchez Martinez, 40, Altus, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 in Lewisville, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Ruben Ybarra officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the funeral home.

The family does request that anybody wishing to attend the visitation or service, that protective masks be worn while in attendance.

Kristy Ann Sanchez was born on July 24, 1981 in Altus, Oklahoma to Jose J. and Anita (Luna) Sanchez. She attended Altus schools and worked as a certified nurse’s aide and a loving housewife. Kristy was engaged to Felipe Martinez, Jr. and the two were to be married soon. She enjoyed arts and crafts, helping others and quality time in her “She Shed.” Her greatest joy came from the memories made spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jose J. Sanchez; her brother, Joe “Ringy” Sanchez, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Espiridion and Maria Luna; paternal grandparents, Esteban and Elsie Sanchez; and her mother-in-law, Mary Colchado.

Survivors include her fiancé, Felipe Martinez, Jr.; her children, Gabby Sanchez and fiancé, Preston Sklar, Serenity Martinez, Gilbert Dickson, Kaden Garcia, Adrien Dickson, Arianna Martinez, Felipe “Puppet” Martinez, III, Emilio Martinez, and Layla Martinez; her granddaughter, Jaelynn Sklar; her mother, Anita Sanchez; a sister, Stella Sanchez, and her son, Marc Maldonado; and numerous other family members and friends.
