LeaVora "Bo" Gay

LeaVora "Bo" Gay, 92, Altus, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at Plantation Village Nursing Home. Graveside services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, December 4 at the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, with Reverend Boyd Whitehead officiating. Services and burial have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home.
Bo was born September 11, 1923 to Roy and Ruby (Dillon) Stockton in Ringling, Oklahoma. LeaVora and Jay Gay were united in marriage on September 13, 1941 in Ringling, OK. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1979. She was the laundry manager at Ayers Nursing Home for twenty two years. Bo enjoyed reading the Bible. She loved to cook, especially for her grandchildren.
LeaVora is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Patsy Marie Gay, and two sisters, Mae Reynolds and Jean Seabolt.
Survivors include her daughter, Glenda Cryer and husband, Sammy; four grandchildren, Sammy Jay Cryer and wife, Kathy, Scott Cryer and wife, Tammy, Brady Cryer and wife, Traci, and Brant Cryer and Ron McNair; six great-grandchildren, Chase, Cassidy, Travis, Amber, Danielle and Megan; and five great great grandchildren.
The Gay family will greet friends from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Kincannon Gathering Room.
