Linda Sue Hurst

Linda Sue Hurst, 74, Altus, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. No services are scheduled at this time. The family will host a viewing and visitation from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Kincannon Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Linda Sue Marshall was born on September 28, 1947 in Cordell, Oklahoma to Sid and Maxine (Parker) Marshall. She married the love of her life, Alvin Hurst, on June 13, 1964 in Cordell. Linda worked for the First National Bank for several years, starting out as a cashier and working her way up to a secretary. Throughout their 57 years of marriage, her and Alvin loved to travel and visit places. No matter where she went, Linda always brought a smile to the faces around her. She loved to decorate and especially loved spending time with her boys and grandkids.

Her parents, a son, Kiel Leon Hurst, and a sister, Jeana Dunn, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Alvin, of the home; four sons, Kevin Hurst and wife, June, Kurt Hurst and wife, Holli, Kendall Hurst and wife, Teresa, and Kent Hurst and wife, Missy; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren with one on the way; a brother, Ronnie Marshall and wife, Ramona; a brother-in-law, Gary Dunn; and many other family members and a host of friends.
