Linda (Redmon) Moreau, 62, Altus, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Doug Altom officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Linda Carol Redmon was born on May 31, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Billy Doyle and Earnestine (Travis) Redmon. She graduated from Erick High School in 1976 and received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma in 1980. Linda worked as a police officer in Elk City, Oklahoma for a few years before joining the District Attorney’s office in Altus in 1991, where she was currently the Bogus Check Coordinator. Linda married James Moreau on April 13, 1996, in Altus. She enjoyed praise and worship music, singing, Bible studies, and taking care of her family. Linda was a very loving and caring wife and mom.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
Survivors include her husband, James, of the home; daughter, Mercy Moreau and partner, Garret Leaf; mother, Earnestine Redmon; sister, Patricia Redmon; and numerous other family members and a host of friends.
