Maria Oliva Perez

Maria Oliva Perez, 61, Martha, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in Lawton, Oklahoma. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday November 11, 2017 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Cory Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Maria Oliva Contreras was born on May 21, 1956 in Mexico to Pablo and Carmen (Salazar) Contreras. She married Domingo Perez on October 27, 1973 in San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico. Maria worked as a homemaker, was a woman of faith, and loved to serve others. She enjoyed interacting with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church and enjoyed watching novelas, listening to music and crocheting.

Her parents and a daughter, Anna Maria Perez, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Domingo; three daughters, Maria Ramona Martinez and husband, Eduardo, Maria Luisa Sanchez and husband, Alejandro, and Janie Herrera and husband, Luis; two sons, Luis Alberto Perez and wife, Holly, and Domingo Perez, Jr.; 9 grandchildren, Jasmin Martinez, Angelica Ugarte, Jacob Martinez, Pedro Ugarte, Kyla Perez, Jalisa Sanchez, Erica Martinez, Nathalie Herrera and Jazliene Perez; six step grandchildren, Laura and Robert Sanchez, Cody, Tyler and Christopher Pruitt, and Weslieh Montalva; three great grandchildren, Isaac Martinez, Jullian Marquez and Marisela Cruz; and 8 brothers and sisters, Alfonso, Moises, Ignacio, Silvestre, Guadalupe, Filomena, Vicente and Lucia Contreras.

A rosary service will be held at 6:30 PM Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel.
