Mark Anthony Gonzalez

Mark Anthony Gonzalez, 37, Altus, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 in Vermilion County, Illinois. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Mark Anthony was born to Marcos and Mary (Lopez) Gonzalez in Altus, Oklahoma. He attended Altus Schools and graduated from Navajoe School with the Class of 2001. He was a construction worker who enjoyed fishing, eating sweets, collecting swords and knives, listening to music, taking his nephew's dog "Baby" on walks, pestering his sister, and eating more sweets (he had a bit of a sweet tooth). He was kind hearted and was always joking around, making the people around him laugh. Most of all Mark love spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his nephew, Josiah Gonzalez. Mark is survived by his parents, Marcos and Mary Gonzalez; two daughters, Kelli Howeth and Anthonia Smith-Gonzalez; one son, Anthony Smith-Gonzalez; sister, Jacqueline Gonzalez two brothers, Isaac Gonzales and Marcos Gonzalez, Jr.; and two nephews, Jovanni and Jasper Lopez.

The Gonzalez family will greet friends Tuesday evening, September 3, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Kincannon Gathering Room.
