Mary Frances Jones

Mary Frances Laminack Jones, 82, Altus, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Magnolia Creek Manor (Plantation Village) in Altus. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Kincannon Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation and services are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Mary Frances Laminack was born October 27, 1937 in Cross Plains, Texas to Walter and Allie (Wood) Laminack. She graduated from Cisco High School (Texas) with the Class of 1955. She continued her education at Cisco Junior College before marrying. Mary Frances and Kenneth Raymond Jones were married on March 2, 1957 in Cisco, Texas and to this union three children were born. Frances continued her education at Cameron University and attained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science. She was a homemaker most of her adult life and was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church in Lawton for several years. Frances enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her family.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Allie Laminack; her step-mother, Lula Condron Laminack; her husband, Kenneth Raymond Jones; her daughter, Robin Anne Jones; sister, Betty Tucker; brother, Bill Laminack; and brother, Billy Condron.

She is survived by her daughter, Francie Clinton and husband, Mark; her son, Scott Jones; four grandchildren, Maggie Lewis and husband, Chris, Allie Marlowe, Rachel Bundy and Landon Young and wife, Carrie; ten great grandchildren, Abbie, Hannah, Emily, Jason, Jessett, Londyn, Lana, Phillip, Alisha and Elijah; her sister-in-Law, Mary Anne Kornegay; and many friends.
