Miralda (Moore) Crabb, 89, Hollis, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A family visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Friday, October 31, 2014 at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Hollis with funeral services to follow at 1:00 P.M., in the chapel with Rev. Ron Ledbetter officiating. Interment will be in the Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Miralda Moore was born on May 11, 1925 in Hollis, OK to John (Jack) and Virgie (Monzingo) Moore. She attended Westview Schools and graduated from LaCasa School in Harmon County, Oklahoma. Miralda and Leland George Crabb were united in marriage on December 30, 1941 in Mangum, Oklahoma. She was a devoted parent, grandparent, and homemaker. Miralda served as the Deputy Court Clerk for Harmon County for ten years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, painting and was an avid reader of historical novels. She loved cheering for the Hollis Tigers, University of Oklahoma and the Atlanta Braves. Miralda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hollis and a former member of the Antioch Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She taught Sunday School and volunteered in the community and at the Harmon County Historical Museum. Miralda is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by two daughters, Carol (Crabb) Mitchell and husband, Bryan, of Tulsa, OK and Lyn (Crabb) Kopta of Lake Aluma, OK; three grandchildren, Sheila Parrish and husband, Lee, of Tulsa, OK, Mark Mitchell and wife, Kim, of Edmond, OK, and Bryan Kopta of Los Angeles, CA and three great grandchildren, Brianna Miller and husband, Michael, of Jenks, OK, and Halle and Avery Mitchell of Edmond, OK. The family would like to extend special thanks for the loving care and devoted support of her friends and the staff at Colonial Manor in Hollis and Tuscany Village in Oklahoma City.
