Myrtle L. Foster

Myrtle Ladelle Foster, 90, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at her home in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Eastview Memorial Park, Vernon, Texas, with Rev. Larry Mays and Rev. Gary Chapman officiating. Services are under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Altus.

Myrtle Ladelle Foster was born on July 18, 1931 in Petersburg, Texas to James Monroe and Dalma A. (Mason) Mann. She worked as a homemaker and loving mother until her children were grown, later working as a dietician. In 1979 Myrtle married Duane Foster in Vernon, Texas where they lived and Myrtle later retired from the State of Texas. Myrtle greatly enjoyed to crochet. When living in Texas she was an active member of Vernon Baptist Church.

Her husbands, Garvin Henry and Duane Foster; her parents, James and Dalma Mann; and daughters, Patricia (Fry) Capshaw and Shirley Henry; preceded her in death.

Myrtle is survived by her daughters, Linda Williams, Jennifer Parry, and Wanda Bates; sons, Roger Henry, Calvin Henry, and Skip Foster; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; sibling, Frankie Mann; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
