Nay "Boonie" Jenkins

Nay “Boonie” Jenkins, 57, Altus, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with DeWayne Jones officiating. Nay Jenkins was born on August 17, 1957 to Nathaniel and Bobbie (Williams) Jenkins in Clinton, OK. Nay and Nadine Rowans were united in marriage on December 4, 1984 in Vernon, Texas. He was served his country in the United States Navy. Boonie worked for Howard Smith Mazda and welded for Hall Welding. He loved to make people laugh. He spent many hours working and teaching others to fix cars. Boonie was a gentle man, who enjoyed fishing, and was loved by all that knew him. Boonie is preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his wife, Nadine, of the home; stepfather, Ervin Crowder; daughters, Terrie West and LaShanda Jenkins; sons, Willie Shaw, Steve Shaw, Freddie Shaw and Leon Rowans; sisters, Nita Shepherd, Nadine Broughton, Marcia Streater, Shena Jenkins and Christy West; brothers, Randy Morgan, Lanny Morgan, Nathan Jenkins and Bobby Joe West, Jr. ; he was also survived by many grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends.
