Olivia Gonzales Benibamonde

Olivia Gonzales Benibamonde, 90, formerly of Altus, passed from this life Wednesday December 5, 2018 in Vernon, Texas. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow services at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Olivia Gonzales Benibamonde was born March 15, 1928 to Dolores and Esuarda (Rubio) Gonzales in Victoria, Texas. She attended Catholic School in Victoria and married Alfonso Alvarado Benibamonde on June 5, 1944 in Sinton, Texas. Their family was blessed with 5 daughters and 8 sons. While in Altus, Olivia was active in her church life at the Templo Sinai and Grace Fellowship congregations. She spent countless hours praying for the sick and needy. Olivia enjoyed taking walks with her family, reminiscing about old times and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Olivia Benibamonde is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfonso; daughters, Adelita Benibamonde and Maria Rogel; sisters, Louisa Cardenas and Trinidad Gonzales; and brothers, Blas Gonzales and Julian Gonzales.
Survivors include; three daughters, Angelita Rivera, Alice Meza and Janie Benibamonde; eight sons, Tony, Toby, Paul, Adolf, Adam, Henry, Alberto, and Alfonso Benibamonde, Jr; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many friends.
The Benibamonde family will greet friends Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. December 9, 2018 at the Kincannon Gathering Room.
