Pedro Lopez

Pedro Hernandez Lopez, 59, Altus, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, February 19, 2021 at the First Baptist Church with Alex Casias officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Pedro Hernandez Lopez was born on January 15, 1962 in El Paso del Guayabal, Mexico to Francisco Lopez and Alfreda Hernandez. He grew up in El Paso del Guayabal and married Humbertina Sanchez on January 4, 1982. Pedro served as the custodian for First Baptist Church for 15 years before his health declined. He was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista. Pedro enjoyed playing pool, watching football and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed playing and watching basketball. His most treasured moments were spending time with his children and grandchildren.

His father, Francisco Lopez, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Humbertina, of the home; six children, Olandra Lopez and husband, Noe Santana, Pete Lopez and wife, Lily, Sergio Lopez, Rigo Lopez and wife, Vanessa, Daniel Lopez and Ilda Lopez; seven grandchildren, Nefi, Jason and Jonathan Santana, Moises, Aaron and Josue Lopez, and Evelyn Lopez; his mother, Alfreda Hernandez; seven brothers and sisters, Simplicia Lopez, Graciela Lopez and husband, Modesto Gonzalez, Francisco Lopez and wife, Rosario Beiza, Balbina Lopez and husband, Beto Ramirez, Alejandro Lopez and wife, Liliana Beiza, and Cayetano Lopez; and many other family members and friends.
