Ramon M. Gloria

Ramon M. Gloria, 61, Altus, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Kincannon Funeral Home with Frank Maldonado and Paul Gloria officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Ramon Gloria was born on July 4, 1951 in Melvin, Texas to Jose Sandoval and Dominga (Martinez) Gloria. He worked in the fields picking cotton for many years until his health declined. Ramon married Audelia Rosalez on December 14, 1986 in Altus. He was a member of the Fountain of Salvation church in Altus and loved to go fishing. His parents, two brothers, Florentino and Ricardo Gloria, and two sisters, Josefina G. Lindo and Maria Elena Vega, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Audelia, of the home; a daughter, Amanda Gloria Perez and husband, Johnny, of Altus, OK; his Mom, Pat Lay and husband, Bill, of Martha, OK; four sisters, Rosa Trevino and husband, Roberto, of Altus, OK, Erlinda Hernandez of Mangum, OK, Juanita Montalvo and husband, Beto, of Willow, OK, and Alica Campos and husband, Joe, of Chattanooga, OK; three brothers, Paul Gloria and wife, Connie, and Jesus Gloria and wife, Janie, all of Altus, OK, and Edward Gloria and wife, Marreta of Sioux City, IA; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
