Ray Magness

Ray Dean Magness, 76, of Elmer, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the Elmer United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Cremation has been provided by Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Ray was born on October 27, 1945 in Altus to Raymond and Marcelle (Alexander) Magness. He attended Southside School. He was a member of the National Guard for 6 years. Ray was a truck driver most of his adult life. After retiring he enjoyed fishing and visiting with family and friends. He was a member of the Hess Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Marcelle; son, Ryan Magness; and sister, Cindy Magness.

Those left to honor Ray’s memory are his sister, Gaylene Freeman and husband, Danny; niece, Amber McMahon and husband, Jacob Brakebill; nephews, Waylon Wigington and wife, Whitney, Justin Wigington, Seth Freeman, and Kastin McMahon; along with several great nieces and nephews.
