Rita Firpo

Rita Jo Firpo, 75, Hollis, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. Cremation services have been provided by Kincannon
Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Rita Jo Richardson was born on August 31, 1944 to Claud S. and Ida (Seright) Richardson in Hollis, Oklahoma. She graduated with the Hollis High School Class of 1962 and had attended some college. Rita married Carl Firpo in California and had served as the Hollis Postmaster for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Hollis First Baptist Church and was active in church work and singing in the choir. Rita enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Ida Richarson; her husband, Carl Firpo; her sister, Wanda Bell Cary and her brother, Wendall Richardson. She is survived by two sons, Gregg Fripo and Mike Firpo and his wife, Denise; three grandchildren, Geneve, Kiley and Dillon Firpo and many friends.

The Firpo family will host a reception from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Hollis First Baptist Church. Online tributes may be made at kincannonfuneralhome.com
