Ronald C. Powers, 81, passed away at his home in Altus on March 26, 2019. Memorial services with military honors will be 3:00 PM Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Altus City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Ronald was born July 6, 1937 to Charles and Inus (Reece) Powers in Coeburn, Virginia. He was a high school graduate. Ronald and Shirley McCoy were united in marriage and he served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1976. He worked as a metal fabricator.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Deborah Powers; and a grandson, Ethan Powers.
Ronald leaves behind his wife, Shirley, of the home; two daughters, DarLyne Powers Hoffman and Sheila Powers Hallock; two sons, Rick and Victor Powers; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two sisters, Carol Powers Barr and Barbara Powers Defilippo.
