Sarom Lim

Sarom Lim, 36, Altus, passed away in the privacy of his home on Friday, August 6, 2021. A memorial service will at 11:00 AM on August 28, 2021 at the Church of Christ, 202 S. Washington Street in Hobart, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Sarom Lim was born in Cambodia on October 15, 1984 to mother, Loum Tom and father Lim, Seng Yee, both of Cambodia. He moved to the United States with his family in 1988, settling first in California then onto Colorado. They relocated to Altus, Oklahoma in 2003 where he enjoyed and made so many amazing fun memories.

Sarom excelled on the Altus High School wrestling team. After he graduated, he worked, maintained and developed relationships at the family's donut shops and restaurants. He really enjoyed his time off, enjoying his true passion of working on cars and riding his motorcycle. With the biggest heart, he loved and cared for everyone that he came across, whether it was providing shelter or feeding someone because he knew they were hungry. He truly was loved by and respected by everyone. Sarom married Sros Pov, whom he loved dearly, on June 10, 2019.

Along with his wife, Sarom is survived by his older siblings, Somalee Lim (Ny Sirk) of Altus, OK; James Lim (Susie Prop) of Fresno, CA; Clay Lim (Thida Nuon) of Altus, OK; Somalay Soriano (Rommel Soriano) of Las Vegas, NV; and his younger sibling Dina Burdette (Julian Burdette) of Denver, CO; a niece and a handful of nephews; and of course, all his dear friends.
