Sherry Woodress

Sherry LaRue Woodress, 67, Altus, Oklahoma, left the party on Friday, September 9, 2022. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Kincannon Funeral Home. A time for celebration and sharing of memories will begin at 7:00 PM. Cremation services are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Sherry was born on July 27, 1955 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Tom Jefferson and Billie Frances (Sanders) Woodress. She grew up in Wichita Falls and attended schools there. She moved to Altus and primarily worked as a house cleaner. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed riding horses, fishing, and riding motorcycles Sherry loved spending time with her friends.

Her parents, Tom and Billie; her sister, Joan Payne; and her sister-in-law, Jyl Woodress; preceded her in death.

Sherry is survived by two brothers, Von Woodress and partner, Shannon Struck, and Mark Woodress and wife, Sandy; a sister, Kimberly Butcher and husband, Billy; and many nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
