Silvio "Tito" Vargas Martinez

Silvio “Tito” Vargas Martinez, 82, Altus, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at English Village Nursing Home. The family has chosen cremation with private family services to be held at a later date. Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service has been entrusted to provide the cremation.
Silvio “Tito” Vargas Martinez was born January 27, 1938 in Xilitla San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Vicente and Maria (Martinez) Vargas. He graduated high school in 1956 and married Maria Vargas in 1960. He continued his education studying law while working in pharmaceutical sales and real estate sales. Tito worked for several area farmers and he especially enjoyed building fence. He always said he was at peace in nature out in the fields. He was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Tito was preceded in death by his parents and numerous brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, Tito Martinez and wife, Margie; two daughters, Rosalia Vargas and husband, Ricardo; and Claudia Vargas; seven grandchildren to include Timothy Vargas and wife, Steffanee; four great grandchildren and many friends.
